Cognates include Tibetan ཏིག་ཏིག (tig tig, certainly), Mizo dik (correct), Proto-Lolo-Burmese *N-d(y)ak (truly; very; intensitive). An allofam is probably (OC *tɯːɡ, “virtue”) (Schuessler, 2007).
