     Zhōngguó gǔdài jiù yǒu suǒwèi “míngcóngzhǔrén” de yuánzé. Yīxiē gǔdài yùnshū shàng de duōyīnzì shènzhì shì zhuānmén wèi mǒuxiē dìmíng de dāngdì dúyīn suǒ shè.      In ancient China, there was a principle called "the name follows its owner." Some ancient rhyme dictionaries even had multiple pronunciations for characters specifically for the local readings of certain place names. For example, in the 'Guangyun' dictionary, the character '房' in '阿房宫' (Epang Palace) had a unique pronunciation corresponding to the 'tang' rhyme in the 'bing' category, which is different from the general pronunciation of the character.

     In accordance with the principle of "the name follows its owner", our country (China) agreed to the request of South Korea, and changed the name Hànchéng to Shǒu'ěr.
