Introduction
The purpose of this report is to summarize the results of the survey about keeping pets which was based on a sample of 60 students of our school.
Kept animals
A total of 70 per cent questioned persons admitted that they own one pet. Although, half admitted having a dog, 19 people own a cat. There is also a group of 15 students which are keeping rabbits, tortoises, turtles, guineas pigs and others.
The reasons
The survey showed option that pets reduce anxiety and lowers heart rate. But generally speaking, students have chosen keeping pets as a way of making them happier.
The past
Only few of the pupils remembered that they had had a pet before they went to school. After answering the survey most of them admitted that parents had bought them a pet because of passing the first grade.
Conclusion
All in all, it is clear that growing popularity of pets prove general unhappiness of our society. Nevertheless, keeping animals at home makes us more relaxed what outweigh the negative conclusion of that report.
