Introduction
The purpose of this report is to sum up the results of a survey about pets, we keep at home. The report is based on a sample of over 300 people living in our city on.
Ownership
Predictably, over 70 per cent of those questioned confirmed having a pet. 55 per cent chose dogs and cats, while hamsters and parrots were the second choice.
Secondaly, when asked about their preferences suprisingly, none of the responders admitted to have a diffrent kind of a favourite.
Reasons
As might be expected, two-thirs pets were good friends. Other reason for having pets was safe guarding property. 18 per cent complained that pets seemed to help the lonely and the sick.
Taking care
When asked who from their family took care of the pet, over half confirmed they did it themselves. By and large, there was no rule, men or women, kids or parents.
Conclusion
On balance, it is clear that pets are popular. The inhabitants of our town enjoy keeping pets to a considerable extent because they are helpfuloffer safety and are an obligation of people who take care of them.
