  1. (personal conditional suffix) Forms the first-person singular present tense of verbs (conditional mood, definite conjugation).
    olvas (to read) + -námolvasnám (I would read)

  • (personal conditional suffix) Variants:
    Lua error in Module:utilities at line 142: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'h' (a nil value) is added to most back vowel verbs
    vár (to wait) + -námvárnám (I would wait)
    -ném is added to most front vowel verbs
    kér (to ask) + -némkérném (I would ask)
    -anám is added to back vowel verbs ending in two consonants or in a long vowel + t (exceptions: áll, száll, varr, forr, lát)
    mond (to say) + -anámmondanám (I would say)
    tanít (to teach) + -anámtanítanám (I would teach)
    -eném is added to front vowel verbs ending in two consonants or in a long vowel + t
