Italian weather is one of most profitable in the world. Summers are hot,sunny and dry. Winters are mild. If you want to go on holiday to Italy you should go from April to June or September to October(then the weather is not hot and there are fewer tourists).

The courrency in Italy is Lir.you can change money in banks, some hotels,airports,railway station or bankomats.
3. Communication
Travelling by train is cheap and easy. Italian trains are one of the cheapest in Europe.
In Italy railway system is very well developed, so you can travell many kilometers relatively little time. Buses are cheap too, but very slow. Ferries go to every Italian islands and also to Greece, Albania, Malta, Tunisia. Travelling by car is easy. There are many motorways, but they are payable. Traffic in cities is very big, narrow roads and unpleasant drivers can make difficult to drive.
4.Opening time
Shops, offices are usually open from Monday to Saturday from 8.00-13.00 and 16.00-20.00. On Sundays only restaurants and pubs are open.
5. Holidays
In Italy are many local public holidays. Every city,town and village has a local saint. Their relicts and likenesses are carried on streets. Most of holidays are celebrated in April,May,August and September.
6.Sport
Sport is very popular in Italy. Especially football,cars rallies and cycling races. Italian want to keep fit and healthy, so they cultivate all kinds off sport.In Italy are many sport clubs, but you don’t have to go there, you can make use ofnatural environment (swimming,running,climbing).
