Small smugglers

TEMAT: Write a story which finishes with the words "I'm glad it's finally over..."

'I'm very glad it's finally over', said Kelly when Jill asked her about the holiday...

Everyting began at the beginning of June. Kelly, her boyfriend Adam and their friend Jane decided to go on a trip to Zakopane. They have always dreamt about it and the decision was quick: they would go there for a few days by Adam's car.

The trip was long and tiring, so they were making frequent breaks at the parkings nearby. After a few hours they passed a signboard with an inscription ?Zakopane". Everything was going well so far.

When they got to the hostel, it was quite late. 'It's definitely too late to climb', he regretted. 'Maybe we could go to Slovakia?', suggested Jane. 'Great idea!', Adam and Kelly were delighted.

Kelly went off to find her passport. She opened her bag ? it was full of necessary and unnecessary things but the passport wasn't there. She entered the room. 'What happened?', asked Adam. 'I'm afraid I can't go with you. I have left my passport at home', Kelly almost cried. 'Don't worry, honey, Adam tried to comfort her, 'I have an idea! We will put you in a luggage boot and no one will notice!?. Kelly agreed to that, despite of many doubts...

It was about midnight. Adam and Jane were sitting in the car and Kelly was lying cowered in a luggage boot. They crossed the border and made a short stop at the petrol station. Kelly could go out of the boot. The group decide to have something to eat.

It took them an hour to get to the town. After some time spent on walking on the mountains, they decided to go back. 'Now you will travel normally, Kelly', said Adam. 'What if the border guard asks me to show my passport to him?. 'Then you will say that you've lost it during climbing. 'OK. Let's go then'.

Nearly in the moming, they reached the border. 'Your passports, please', said an officer in green uniform. 'I don't have it', answered Kelly, 'I've lost it during climbing. I couldn't find it'. 'Come with me', said the officer. Kelly did what he told.

They entered the lodge. The officer asked a lot of questions about her identity, when she had crossed the border etc. Kelly didn't know what to say. She panicked and explained to him how she managed to cross the border without passport...

'All of you are smugglers!', the officer was clearly angry. 'You will be arrested! '. 'Please, don't!', Kelly started to cry again. 'You can't do that, we're young, we didn't know what we were doing'. Surprisingly, it worked. The officer only smiled. 'OK, I will let you go, but mind what you do in the future, you small smugglers'. "THANK YOU AND SORRY!', they said with one accord.

Next day, when Kelly was lying on a sofa with Adam, she smiled to him and said 'No more trips like that. I'm glad it's finally over...'
