A special place

There is a special place that makes me feel safe and loved, this place is my home, where I’m surrounded by people I love. My home is a place where nothing’s a surprise and no one will judge me and tell me what to do. My parents will always support me and help me out if I was in trouble. Many times, when I felt troubled I knew I would always find comfort and peace in my home. My home is not big, we actually live in two bedroom apartment, but even though it’s small I think it’s the safest place on Earth. When I feel sad or scared I would always find comfort in my home .I would sit on the big, brown couch in our living room and my mom would bake me some apple pie. The smell of freshly baked apple pie would spread around the house like if it was a thousand little butterflies. Then, my mom and I would sit on the couch and talk. We would tell each other secrets, jokes and share our lives. Sometimes, we would talk and giggle for hours. I can still remember all the laughter that would carry on in our home. Therefore, I would forget about all my troubles and I would feel safe. I will always remember all those good times spent with my parents, how we laugh and how we cried. Those things will always stand out in my memory. My safe place is in my home around people I love. When I’m with my parents I can forget all my stresses and feel safe for instant. In addition, my home it’s like “my sanctuary”, I know that no matter what I can always feel safe at home.
