Pablo Picasso was born in Malaga, Spain in 1881. He was already painting at the age of 10. When Pablo was 17 years ola, he started to go to a school in Madrid. In 1900 he moved to Paris. Picasso is the foremost figure in 20th century art, a leader of the School of Paris. Pablo created a rewolutionary new art form called Cubism. He let the art world know and see that several points of view of our object could be viewed at one time.
At this time he painted Les Demoiselles d'Arignon. In the 1920's he also introduced collage. Later Picasso turned to creations of fantasy and comic invention. Pablo spent most of this time in Paris, and after the World War II ended, he joined the Communist party. On his 90th birthday, many of Picasso's works were displayed in the Louvre, Paris as a special honour to him. It was the first time when his pictures had been shown in the famous museum. During his later years, he worked with all power to produce wonderful art welding and poetry. Pablo Picasso died in 1973, at the age of 92 in his villa in France.
