Since I was five I always wanted to be a movie star. Because movie stars earn much money and everyone know them. They're living like kings in a fairytales. To be the movie star it's for me the same like to be rich. Did I would like to be the richest man in the world ? I don't know.
The richest man in the world is Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, the twenty-ninth Sultan of Brunei. He is descended from one of the oldest ruling dynasties on earth. When one of his daughter was eleven years old, he gave her a birthday party. It was in ballroom of Claridges Hotel in Mayfair, London, and it cost $ 100.000, but for the Sultan this is not a great amount of money. The Sultan's total wealth is more then $ 25 billions. He owns hotels all round the world: in London, in Los Angels, in Singapore. He has a fleet of private planes, including an airbus. On of his London houses has the biggest garden in the city, except for Buckingham Palace. Some years ago, in Brunei he built the biggest palace in the world. The total cost of the palace was $ 400 million. In 1996 he had a special party there for his fiftieth birthday. It lasted three days. Despite all his money and power the Sultan is a very shy man. When he was nineteen, he married his cousin, Princess Saleha. When he was a thirty-five he fell in love with Marim Bell and he married her too, and now he has two wives and ten children, four princes and six princesses. All live happily together in the palace.
I think I don't like to be the richest man in the world. Everybody look at you, what will you do with your cash. They will talk about you every time, even you will do good things.
People say that money is not everything. That we should think about our health, family and so on. As far as I'm concerned, I agree with this. But what would we do, if we hadn't money ? Would we be happy ? I don't think so. Why I'd like to be a movie star ? Because I would like to have a lot of money to be rolling with it, but not so much money like Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. First of all if I had a lot of money, I would set off on a journey. I would visit places that I can only dream about. I would also purchase a big house, in which I could live in a very humble way. Moreover I would by myself a spaceship in order to discover some traces of aliens existence in the Universe. I also would not forget about the people that are in need. I would donate some of my money to starveling children of Africa. I would also try to enable homeless people to get some jobs and buy flats. I don't think that I will even be enormously rich. But if I were, I would never fulfil all of my wishes because the richer you are, the more you need.
Three years ago most of the world has heard and learned about the tragic death of Princess Diana and her companion, Dodi Al-Fayed. Many people were quick to blame the paparazzi, those free-lance photographers who specialise in celebrities. And even though it appears that high-speed driving by an intoxicated chauffeur actually led to the fatal crash, those conditions occurred only because the couple were trying to escape unwanted attention from photographic stalkers.
Now you can see were is the problem. I would like to be a movie star, to be famous , but not like this people. Diana was died, because she was very famous - she wants to be famous when she gets married with prince Karol. In the future I want to be as good as they are, but not so well. I'd like to be a movie star but also to be a normal person.
