Brand or non-brand clothing?

In my opinion buying brand clothing is better then buying non – brand ones. There are some basic advantages of possessing brand cloths against few minor disadvantages.
The most important pros are characteristic of, among others, good quality, fashionable design and long tradition of the company’s goodwill.

First, good quality of the attire normally means that the cloths may be used for a relatively long period of time without loosing the properties they have at the moment of buying. For example, new shoes of a renown brand mark may look as unused after a few months or even a year without visible traces of wear and tear. The shoes stay comfortable, in shape and preserve their colour and resilience. The good quality for many people is worth the money they pay for the chosen quality product.

Second, another advantage of this sort of cloths is their modern design. This involves the promotion of fashion and new trends of dressing.. Attractive appearance and being in vogue are often decisive factors while buying new cloths.

Finally, long tradition of the business' goodwill is a sort of guarantee for the buyer. For many a man the fact that some brand name products have proved to be on the top of the markets for many years is worth more then anything else. It has been proven that people are not willing to change easily the brand of products they buy.

On the other hand, there are some disadvantages of investing in brand name cloths. The basic cons I can think of are connected to the facts that some brand names make no match for some people and not everyone can afford it. One example of a disadvantage may be buying certain, brand cloths by people who due to their age or shape do not suite the attire. An elderly or fat lady may not look nice in a very short skirt of whatever good and recognized brand name it would be. Another example concerns people who have a very low income. Trademark clothes may be for them to expensive and may cause social segregation, which is certainly a draw back to the equality of human rights.

As indicated above, buying the good quality attire is usually more advantegous then spending money on unknown tradename cloths. In my opinion it pays off to spend money on good quality which involves more crucial advantages as compered to the occasionally possible disadvantages.
