Factfile
The whole population of Trzebinia is about 25 000. Main cities are Trzebinia and Chrzanów. This region is a tiny part of Poland with a long and interesting history; place in which numerous secular and religious monuments have survived to witness its history since the Middle Ages until modern times.

The wildlife
It is a region of small hills with forests, green meadows, picturesque woods with remnants of ancient beech-tree woodlands and marshes of the Dulowska Woodlands, habitat of beavers.

Sport
The Trzebinia region sporting life is as long as the coal mine Siersza itself. The coal mine has been holding a football club since the beginning of the XX century. There is also tennis, volley ball and basketball played here. The largest sport stadiums is in Siersza and Trzebinia.

Famous People
Although there are no many famous people of historical importance, yet we have some interesting personalities to be met at some lectures in Zieleniewski Mansion every week. You can also attend some classical music concerts there.

Places to visit
Apart from visiting the main towns of the region such as Trzebinia and Chrzanów you can visit some places of recreation like Chechło or Balaton or have a nice walk in some forests and parks. The area is strongly urbanised yet offering possibilities of relaxation and recreation in contact with nature.
