A description of a day at school - Opis dnia w szkole

On Monday, lessons begin at 8:00. I go to school by bus. I am waiting for a friend near the bus stop and we go to school together. The first lesson is geography. I really like geography, but it is difficult to concentrate at this early hour of the day. I'm still very sleepy. Usually we read an excerpt from the manual, and then we discuss it and make notes.

The next subject is mathematics. We have classes in another building. Because between geography and mathematics is only a short, five-minute break, we need to hurry. My math teacher is punctual person and do not like it when someone is late. After mathematics we have ten minute break. During this pause usually we try to remember what was the last lesson of history. At the beginning of each lesson the history of our teacher asks a person with a summary of the previous topic. Then the teacher presents lessons. Our history teacher speaks in a slow and monotonous. For me it's the most boring hour of the day.

After the story is a long pause. During this break I'm going with a friend to the school cafeteria. We eat lunch and talk about the past weekend. When the bell rings, we go back to class. We have lessons in Polish. This is my favorite subject. Mr. Smith is an extraordinary teacher and each lesson is unusual and interesting. Polish After the lesson we're going to the gym. During physical education classes play volleyball or basketball. After the game we are exhausted. We go to our school store lemonade. At the time, often we are arguing about the game. For example, we argue about fouls, or about who should have won the game. Finally, I have one final lesson - English. I like English, but I'm so tired that I only think about going home. Since this is the last lesson seems to be the longest. I finish classes at 14.00. I say goodbye to my friends and I go home.
