1. Safety in our country. 2. Indisputable benefits of technological advancement.

1. In my presentation I’m going to focus on the topic of safety in our country. Firstly I’ll say why people commit the crime and than I’ll say how we can make our country safier. There are a few reasons why people commit a crime. There are for example:
- Each type of dysfunctional family
- Intolerance
- Widespread social ills
- Poverty and lack of any good perspectives
Fortunately we have chance to change this situation for better. We can for example: tell young people what’s good and what’s bad. They must be learned it from parents and teachers in school. We can open more prisons and 24-hours courts. We must also apply heavier punishment. Police should also have more patrols in cities not only sit in offices and write reports. And to reduce robbery etc. the government should do everything to make our life better and increase quality of life.
2. In my presentation I’m going to focus on the topic of indisputable benefits of technological advancement. First I’ll tell about examples of inventions that has change our life or make it easier. Secondly I’ll tell about bad sides of technological inventions. I agree that technology is indispensable in our life. thanks them we don’t life like medieval people. Computer is definitely the most important invention in our life. Nowadays computer are everywhere. People use them to work, school and for children who want to have fun. We can find information that are useful for us, keep in touch with friends and family or ex. for shopping. The second invention is mobile phone. There are almost no people who don’t have mobile phones now. There are very convenient because they are so small that we can hide them in packet and take everywhere, we can use them when we want. Mobile phones are definitely invention without it is difficult to imagine life. Next invention is microscope. Scientists use them in laboratories to explore about life. They observe ex. bacteries or DNA. Technology is useful in medicine also ex. body scan, inventions can safe our life. Or ex. can you imagine your life without cars? I don’t think so. Last but not least I’ll tell bad sides of technology also. There are few examples: pollution which is detrimental to the Earth, growing number of accidents are due to drivers using hand-held mobiles or become people lazier. We stop meeting people, it’s easier for us to send them sms or e-mail. Even shopping we do by internet. I think that people should use inventions and make life easier but we must to be responsible and use them with sense.
