This town is not big or popular but only in here you can feel a special person.
The most popular hotel is “Tarnovia”. It’s not only clean and safe, but it’s also very rafined. In front of the hotel is beautiful fountain and the next to “Tarnovia” is wonderful Church of Missionary Fathers under the invocation of the Holy Family.
You can visit old municipal building parts of Tarnów, like City Walls, Cathedral Church under the invocation of the Birth of the Holy Virgin Mary, Town Hall, Bima, “Mikołajowski” house, remnants of the castle of the Tarnowski Family and Mansion at Gumniska Street. You can also see the monumentary complexes like Former Church of Bernardine Fathers, Bernardine Monastery Church and Church under the invocation of the Holy Trinity. The Gypsy exhibition at the Etnographical Museum with its extensive documentary material has become known in all Europe. The collection of Polish aristocracy portraits as well as the collection of devotional paintings and sculptures at the Diocesan Museum.
Tarnów is packed with restaurants and bars. The most luxurious is Bristol, because the biggest ceremonies and balls are making in here. The other restaurants are “Bella Italia”, “Podzamcze”, “Vietlan”, “Ambrozja”, “Hades” and “Pizzeria Maranto”. The “Tatrzańska” Cafe is very popular too.
In Tarnów you can buy everything. There are many shops on Wałowa Street like “Jackpot and Cottonfield”, where you can buy designer clothes. The Krakowska Street is very popular too, because in here are the best shops and restaurants in town.
The famous clubs in Tarnów are “Blue Velvet”, “Manhattan”, “220V” and “Joker”. There you can dancing and have fun. Little clubs and cafes on the Market Square are popular with youth.
