Cognate with Bashkir һатыусы (hatıwsı, seller), Southern Altai садучы (sadučï, seller), Turkish satıcı (seller), Dolgan атыыһыт (merchant), Chuvash сутуҫӑ (sut̬uś̬ă, salesman), etc.
