Etymology
From Proto-Turkic *sat-ïg-čï (“seller”), from Proto-Turkic *sat- (“to sell”).
Cognate with Bashkir һатыусы (hatıwsı, “seller”), Turkish satıcı (“seller”), Dolgan атыыһыт (“merchant”), etc.
Synchronously, сут (sut) + -уҫӑ (-uś̬ă).
