sato
Finnish
Etymology
From Proto-Finnic *sato, probably from Proto-Uralic *čača- (“to grow”). Related to Erzya чачомс (čačoms, “born”). Alternatively, and less likely, from sataa + -o. Baltic and Germanic borrowing have also been suggested as possible origins.
