  1. Alternative form of 다는 (-daneun, declarative, noun-modifying quotative suffix) in the following environments:
    1. Directly after the stem of 이다 (-ida, to be, copula), whether present or elided, and its negative 아니다 (anida, to not be).
      허우위강이라는 어느 방문객이 말하기를, 그는 기후 변화와 바이수이에의 융해에 대해서 너무 걱정하지는 않는다고 한다.
