Mianrud Rural District (Persian: دهستان ميانرود)[3] is in Chamestan District of Nur County, Mazandaran province, Iran.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 13,906 in 3,499 households.[4] There were 13,953 inhabitants in 4,172 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 14,259 in 4,707 households. The largest of its 42 villages was Shir Kola, with 1,342 people.[2]
