Chamestan District (Persian: بخش چمستان) is in Nur County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Chamestan.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 40,683 in 10,217 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 42,045 people in 12,314 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 44,300 inhabitants in 14,187 households.[2]
