Goldasht District (Persian: بخش گلدشت) is in Gomishan County, Golestan province, Iran.[3]
After the 2006 National Census, Gomishan District was separated from Torkaman County in the establishment of Gomishan County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Gomishan as its capital.[3]
The census in 2011 counted 30,900 people in 7,150 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 34,021 inhabitants in 9,025 households.[2]
