Aramu Rural District (Persian: دهستان ارمو) is in the Central District of Darreh Shahr County, Ilam province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 7,089 in 1,399 households.[3] There were 8,017 inhabitants in 1,998 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 8,010 in 2,172 households. The largest of its 24 villages was Aramu, with 2,383 people.[2]
