Badreh County (Persian: شهرستان بدره) is in Ilam province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Badreh.[3]
After the 2011 census, Badreh District was separated from Darreh Shahr County in the establishment of Badreh County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Badreh as its capital and only city at the time.[3]
At the 2016 census, the county's population was 15,614 in 4,311 households.[2]
Administrative divisions
The structure of Badreh County's administrative divisions is shown in the following table. The latest census shows two districts, four rural districts, and one city.[2]
After the 2016 census, Alishervan Rural District was transferred from Ilam County,[4] and the village of Cheshmeh Shirin was elevated to the status of a city.
