ἴνδουρος
Ancient Greek
Etymology
The similarity with Sanskrit उन्दुर (undura, “rat, mouse”) is rather accidental. For the ending, it can be compared σκίουρος (skíouros, “squirrel”), which must be a loan, perhaps from Pre-Greek
