1. (used of a male) to commit adultery.
   • 2007, พระราชบัญญัติแก้ไขเพิ่มเติมประมวลกฎหมายแพ่งและพาณิชย์ (ฉบับที่ ๑๖) พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๐:

     มาตรา ๕ ให้ยกเลิกความใน (๑) ของมาตรา ๑๕๑๖ แห่งประมวลกฎหมายแพ่งและพาณิชย์ และให้ใช้ความต่อไปนี้แทน "(๑) สามีหรือภริยาอุปการะ เลี้ยงดู หรือยกย่องผู้อื่นฉันภริยาหรือสามี เป็นชู้หรือมีชู้ หรือร่วมประเวณีกับผู้อื่นเป็นอาจิณ อีกฝ่ายหนึ่งฟ้องหย่าได้"

     Section 5 The provision of (1) of Section 1516 of the Civil and Commercial Code shall be repealed and replaced by the following: "(1) When either the husband or wife supports, maintains, or honours another person as his own wife or her own husband, when he engages in adultery or she commits adultery, or when either of them habitually has intercourse with another person, the other may enter a claim for divorce."
