Cognate with Gujarati હીરો (hīro), Hindustani ہِیرَا (hīrā) / हीरा (hīrā), Sindhi هيِرو / हीरो, Punjabi ਹੀਰਾ (hīrā) / ہِیرا (hīrā), Bengali হীরা (hira), Assamese হীৰা (hira).
