Cognate to Khakas чаарға (çaarğa), Shor чаарға (čaarɣa), Western Yugur yaɣ-, Tuvan чаар (çaar), Tofa чаар (čaar), Karachay-Balkar джауаргъа (cauarğa), Kumyk явмакъ (yawmaq), Karaim jav-, Tatar яварга (yawarga), Bashkir яуыу (yawıw), Kyrgyz жаа (jaa), Southern Altai јаар (ǰaar), Nogai явув (yavuv), Karakalpak jaw, Kazakh жауу (jauu), Salar yağ, Turkish yağmak, Azerbaijani yağmaq, Turkmen ýagmak, etc. Also , Chulym суғчағарға (suɣčaɣarɣa).
