Zarem Rud Rural District (Persian: دهستان زارم رود)[3] is in Hezarjarib District of Neka County, Mazandaran province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 8,888 in 2,222 households.[4] There were 9,217 inhabitants in 2,664 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 8,370 in 2,689 households. The largest of its 44 villages was Chalmardi, with 1,184 people.[2]
