Zangi Kola-ye Olya (Persian: زنگي كلاعليا, also Romanized as Zangī Kolā-ye ‘Olyā; also known as Zangī Kolā-ye Bālā)[3] is a village in Dabuy-ye Shomali Rural District, Sorkhrud District, Mahmudabad County, Mazandaran province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,336 in 357 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,498 people in 474 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,583 people in 538 households; it was the largest village in its rural district. [2]
