Tierra Blanca is a Mexican city (and municipality) located in the Northeast region of the state of Guanajuato. The municipality has an area of 391.65 square kilometres (1.09% of the surface of the state) and is bordered to the north by Santa Catarina, to the south and the east to the state of Querétaro, to the west by San José Iturbide and to the northwest by Doctor Mora.
