The Astaka is a twin-tower residential complex at Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Tower A, with a height of 278.9 m (915 ft), is the tallest skyscraper in Johor Bahru upon its completion in 2017. It is also the tallest residential skyscraper in Southeast Asia. [1] Tower B is the second tallest skyscraper in Johor Bahru, at 255.6 m (839 ft). Tower A is the tallest building in Malaysia outside of Kuala Lumpur.[2]

The development is located at Zone A of Iskandar Malaysia. It houses 438 apartments, including penthouse duplexes. The penthouse duplexes in both towers are exclusively owned by the Sultan of Johor. [3]


It is one of the few development projects in Johor Bahru that has private lifts and within walking distance to CIQ Complex.[4]
