Ruitz (French pronunciation: [ʁɥi]) is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region of France.[3]
The trumpeter Alexis Demailly was born in Ruitz in 1980.
Geography
Ruitz is situated about 5 miles (8.0 km) southwest of Béthune and 36 miles (58 km) southwest of Lille, at the junction of the D72 and D86e roads.
