Qanatghestan (Persian: قناتغستان, also Romanized as Qanātghestān and Qanāt-e-Ghestan; also known as Kanakistān and Qalāt Ghestān)[3] is a village in Qanatghestan Rural District of Mahan District, Kerman County, Kerman province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 902 in 249 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,083 people in 303 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,147 people in 338 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
