Ordughesh (Persian: اردوغش, also Romanized as Ordūghesh, Ardūghesh, and Erdūghesh)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Ordughesh Rural District of the Central District of Zeberkhan County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Sahel Borj.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,476 in 374 households, when it was in the former Zeberkhan District of Nishapur County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,600 people in 476 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,914 people in 615 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
After the census, Zeberkhan District was separated from Nishapur County in the establishment of Zeberkhan County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Qadamgah as its capital and only city.[7]
