The Ministry of Human Rights is a ministry responsible for monitoring human rights, and in particular women's rights in Somalia. The current Minister of Human Rights is Deeqa Yasin.[1] The main mission is to ensure the development, care and protection of the family and children through cross-cutting policies, legal instruments and programs, to spread awareness of their rights and facilitate access to education, nutrition, institutional and legislative support to enable them to grow and develop fully.[2]
