Katul Rural District (Persian: دهستان كتول) is in the Central District of Aliabad County, Golestan province, Iran.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 33,729 in 7,762 households.[3] There were 35,873 inhabitants in 10,089 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 26,732 in 7,801 households. The largest of its 28 villages was Owdak Duji, with 2,691 people.[2]
