Kateh Shamshir-e Sofla (Persian: كته شمشيرسفلي, also Romanized as Kateh Shamshīr-e Soflá and Kateh Shamshīr Soflá; also known as Kateh Shamshīr and Katteh Shamshīr-e Pā’īn)[3] is a village in Qalandarabad Rural District of Qalandarabad District, Fariman County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,552 in 565 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,980 people in 745 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,112 people in 806 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
