Hormozabad (Persian: هرمزاباد, also Romanized as Hormozābād; also known as Hormoz and Hormuz)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Eslamiyeh Rural District of the Central District of Rafsanjan County, Kerman province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,302 in 543 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,750 people in 745 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,665 people in 784 households.[2]
