Hegmataneh Rural District (Persian: دهستان هگمتانه) is in the Central District of Hamadan County, Hamadan province, Iran.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 22,813 in 5,624 households.[3] There were 34,889 inhabitants in 8,568 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 35,653 in 9,458 households. The largest of its 14 villages was Qasemabad, with 8,125 people.[2]
