The Central District of Hamadan County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان همدان) is in Hamadan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Hamadan.
At the National Census in 2006, its population was 560,133 in 150,032 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 628,626 people in 184,682 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 655,859 inhabitants in 204,868 households.[2]
