Gurband (Persian: گوربند, also Romanized as Gūrband; also known as Gavarbaad, Gavārband, and Qal‘eh-ye Gūrband)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Gurband Rural District of the Central District of Minab County, Hormozgan province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,444 in 615 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,562 people in 651 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,692 people in 813 households.[2]
