Chaghakhor Rural District (Persian: دهستان چغاخور) is in Boldaji District of Borujen County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village Avargan.

At the census of 2006, its population was 8,119 in 1,743 households.[4] There were 6,139 inhabitants in 1,550 households at the following census of 2011.[5] In the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,216 in 1,517 households. The largest of its 10 villages was Avargan, with 2,041 people.[2]
