Caniac-du-Causse (French pronunciation: [kanjak dy kos], literally Caniac of the Causse; Occitan: Canhac del Causse) is a commune in the Lot department in south-western France.
In Caniac there is a very nice church which can be visited and where there is a pretty little crypt ,classified as an historical monument.
The famous hermit Saint Namphaise , former Baron of Charlemagne ,is said to have been buried there.
