Background

Released in October of 2019, the Surface Pro 7 is the 7th-iteration of Microsoft's Surface Pro 2-in-1 tablets. It has an upgraded processor as well as more storage and memory configurations than its predecessor. This is the first Surface Pro device to contain a USB‑C port with power delivery.

Identification

The Surface Pro 7 looks very similar to previous models, with a detachable keyboard and kickstand. To identify your Surface device model, use Microsoft's official guide. The Pro 7 has one USB‑C port, one USB-A port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, one Surface Connect port, a Surface Type Cover port, and a MicroSDXC Card Reader (Wi‑Fi models). It's available in two colors: Platinum or Black.
