Background
The Insignia Sport was released in 2007 by Best Buy Enterprise Services, Inc. but has since been discontinued.
The Insignia sport features a 1.7" color LCD screen, built-in FM radio tuner with support for RDS data, 4 custom EQ settings, high-speed USB 2.0 interface for blazing transfer speeds and a microSD expansion slot for additional memory capacity. The system requires Windows 98 or later, and Mac OS 8.6.
Identification
To identify your Insignia Sport, first check that the front and back panels have the Insignia logo. The front of the device has a distinct scroll wheel. The lower back panel will have the model number, NS-4V17, imprinted. The physical dimensions of this product are 3.3" x 1.6" x .4" and its weight is 1.4 oz. Insignia released the Sport mp3 player in red, blue and black colors.
