Background and Identification

The Craig CMP801 was released on -- and created by Windows.

The device is created with 8.95 inch High Definition Digital Capacitive Multi-Touch Screen. It has a 1024 x 600 resolution (16:9) with multicolor features. The operating system is Microsoft Windows 8.1 where Bing is the default search engine. Other components built into the device include a 1GB DDR III RAM for storage; front and rear Cameras; a WiFi (802.11b/g/n) receptor; Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology; rechargeable battery; and speaker and microphone.

The Craig CMP801 also has a card reader made for Micro SD Cards that support up to 32GB of storage. Other features include a USB, HDM1, and a headphone/microphone port to connect to other devices.

The product comes with a USB Cable and AC/USB Adaptor that enables the users to charge and connect their device to their vehicles or televisions. Users who do not prefer touch screen keyboard can also connect a physical keyboard to the device and type separately. It can then be used as a mini-laptop; a very convenient tool to use in classroom and/or in business meetings to take notes.The product weighs about two pounds; it is a light device that users can easily carry when they travel.
