With the help of our Steven Feurer, I integrated JSIDplay into this new bunch of reviews. I hope to slowly add it into all past reviews...
'Back dogs!' cried the bearded Pirate as he swung through the window on a rope. 'On March the 21st 2010, the next ZZAP! review goes online -- read it, or I’ll slice ye gizzards out'. And after clearing up the glass, he left to catch the bus home.

Druid -- Demon's Winter

The 'Miss Animated World' competition was reaching its climax and the last six contestants were filing out onto the state. Penny Race, having only recently recovered from her marital difficulties with husband Roy, looked stunning in her red and yellow bikini. Pebbles Flintstone took the stage wearing a leopardskin which even Racquel Welsh would have found a little risque. Thelma, of Scooby Doo fame, abandoned her usual scarf and mini skirt for the latest in designer one-piece swimsuits. Penelope Pitstop was just about to shed her traditional boilersuit . . . when suddenly the girls started to disappear from the feet up! Pandemonium broke out, people started to scream in terror, and Fred Flintstone and Roy Race fell to the floor in a swirling mess of flailing limbs, screaming obscenities which were totally unbecoming for cartoon characters. Backstage, a giggling Olive Oyl quietly hid the giant pencil rubber behind the radiator. Next ZZAP! review reaches the monitors on February 28th.

Action & Strategy Game of the Week
Beyond the Forbidden Forest -- Tankattack
"Huge amounts of blood, guts and gore, courtesy of US GOLD's Sizzling sequel to FORBIDDEN FOREST."
After a brief (!) hiatus the htmlized reviews from the UK C64 computer games' magazine Zzap!64 are back! Check out the new reviews in the Articles section.
As far as the eye could see there was sand . . . nothing but sand. Unless of course you counted all the kangaroos on pogo sticks, and of course that little kiosk which doesn’t sell Perrier, oh and let’s not forget the guy pulling the scarf off the sword so that his girlfriend will give him a bite of her Turkish Delight. Apart from all this the desert was empty -- it's always the same on a Sunday. The next ZZAP! review goes online on February 21st -- last one in’s a girly!

Online Database Updated to V7.0
Dearly beloved C64 users! It is our most noble duty to duly inform you that our online Database has now been updated to Version 7.0!
This means that our Chief Borg Compiler (who now uses AVATAR technology to control his borgified body from afar) managed to cram 21000 entries in the already overcrowded database!
And for the faint-hearted who may not be able to handle the excitement of seeing new entries appear suddenly during their browsing sessions, we have created a counter-revolutionary section, called What's Fresh in V7 (TM), to make the transition as Commodore User Friendly as possible!
You can also hold your breath (or not), because the return of the htmlized ZZAP64! reviews is imminent!
Finally, let it be known that we are currently searching for a place to host our (large) files, so if you can offer this service for the GB64 project please drop us a line here...

Online Database Updated to V6.0
Some of you may have already noticed that our online Database has been updated to Version 6.0!
This means that there are now 20600 entries for your perusal -- and this time we have created a revolutionary innovating section, called What's New in V6 (TM), in order to ease the transition for the tormented souls who browse 20,000 titles, every time the database is updated, in order to find the new additions!
Many thanks to our Peter Weighill for compiling the listing.
