Chrisann Brennan Close ones

Chrisann was Steve Jobs' girlfriend from high school, and until their early 20s. Steve had less interest in her after starting Apple, however they still lived together with their common friend Dan Kottke. In 1978, Lisa Brennan-Jobs was born out of their relationship. Steve denied Lisa's paternity at first. Later on, as Steve refused to pay for Lisa's care, a DNA paternity test was given that established him as her father. He was required to give Brennan a monthly allowance. Over the years, however, they worked out their differences, and Jobs started seeing Lisa more often from his early 30s. Chrisann credits Steve's biological sister Mona Simpson for helping repair their father-daughter relationship. Chrisann wrote the book The Bite in the Apple to tell her story after Steve's passing in 2013.
