outrem
Portuguese
Etymology
From Old Galician-Portuguese outre, from Latin alterī, plural of alter (“the other”), from Proto-Indo-European *h₂élteros (“the other of two”). The nasalization of the final vowel is probably due to influence of alguém and/or quem.
